The Fall River Housing Authority has been offering affordable public housing for the city of Fall River Massachusetts since 1938. We have apartments and vouchers available for 4,900 families, providing safe, well maintained, and affordable quality housing units. We work to develop, acquire, operate, and lease out affordable housing options for our residents who have limited income. The funding for Fall River Housing Authority primarily comes from the federal government through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), and the collection of resident rents.

Fall River Housing Authority is committed to providing quality affordable housing, that is decent and safe, to eligible individuals and families in our community. We strive to make the best use out of all available resources so that our residents may live in an environment that is clean, well-maintained, and attractive. We aspire to instill both pride and desire for an enhanced quality of life for both our residents and their families. The Fall River Housing Authority was created pursuant to the authority of the constitution and statutes of the state of Massachusetts, including, particularly, general laws of Massachusetts (TER. ED), Chapter 121, Section 26-K, and was duly organized on the 22nd day of August, 1938; and since the date of its organization, the Fall River Housing Authority has continued to exist without interruption in the performance of its public corporate purposes.
