IFB 7-8-26

The Fall River Housing Authority hereby solicits sealed bids for the Trash Compactor Removal and Replacement at Holmes Apartments along with a Control System Replacement System set forth in the specifications detailed in IFB 7-8-26.

The project carries a contract estimate of $25,000. The FRHA requires completion of the contract in sixty (60) calendar days following the receipt of a Notice to Proceed.

Beginning Wednesday, June 24, 2026, specifications with the bid forms may be obtained by in-person pick-up from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Fall River Housing Authority Offices, 85 Morgan Street, Fall River, MA. Or, by emailing Tim McCoy, tim.mccoy@fallriverha.org

Sealed bids must be received at 85 Morgan Street, Fall River MA 02721, no later than 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 8, 2026, where said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, All Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked IFB 7-8-26. All bids received later than the said date and time will be rejected and returned unopened. The successful contractor must supply proof of liability insurance coverage and Workers’ Compensation coverage prior to the execution of a contract.

Davis Bacon Wage schedules are applicable to this project; additionally, MBE/WBE Businesses are encouraged to participate.

The Fall River Housing Authority reserves the right to reject all bids when it is in the best interest of the Authority to do so. The FRHA Board of Commissioners will award a contract at their July Board Meeting.
